ArticlesCamerons Cancer Protocol

December 30, 2022by Dennis Lagarde23
Cameron received these five chemotherapy drugs over 33 weeks with the common and occasional side effects listed for each drug
https://i0.wp.com/lagardeswholehealth.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/11/contact-us.png?fit=1200%2C420&ssl=1
  1. Vincristine- side effects: hair loss, neuropathy, loss of reflexes in ankles and feet, muscle weakness, jaw pain, and constipation
  2. Doxorubicin (the red devil) side effects: low blood cell counts, nausea/vomiting, hair loss, mouth sores, cardiac muscle damage with prolonged use resulting in heart failure, secondary cancer/Leukemia, allergic reaction, bruising/bleeding, hepatitis, irreversible damage to the bone marrow, shortness of breath and loss of finger/toenails.
  3. Cyclophosphamide-side effects: hair loss, chills, mouth sores, anorexia, nausea/vomiting & diarrhea, anemia, bruising/bleeding, tiredness, fever, heart damage or heart attack, severe skin rash with blistering, liver damage, cancer.
  4. Ifosfamide-side effects: anemia requiring blood transfusions, bruising/bleeding, kidney damage which may require dialysis, nausea/vomiting, blood in urine, hair loss, abnormal heartbeat, fluid around the lungs, confusion, and disorientation.
  5. Etoposide-side effects: hair loss, sores in mouth which may cause difficulty swallowing, infections, anemia, bruising/bleeding, anemia tiredness, heart failure or heart attack, severe skin rash w/blistering over the skin or mouth, and liver damage.

After reviewing the above side effects, we formulated a supplementation protocol to hopefully negate or minimize the above side effects. We consulted with the Oncologist before implementing any supplements. He gave us approval for all supplements listed below. Please check with your personal Doctor/Oncologist before beginning any dietary supplement regimen. We were told not to give certain supplements that we were investigating with the doctor explaining the rationale of why it was contraindicated. Some doctors are more progressive than others. We were blessed with an Oncologist who supported our desires to help our son in any way possible. If we were given the green light for our son, I don’t see why it could not be utilized for other patients receiving chemotherapy for any other particular cancer.

  1. Aim Barley Life- Either 1 teaspoon of the powder mixed in water or 7 capsules twice daily. This has multiple beneficial effects, such as the body’s good cells exposed to chemotherapy repairing themselves at twice the normal rate with the addition of the barley. Barley is also abundant in Superoxide Dismutase (S.O.D.), a potent anti-aging antioxidant that scavenges the free radicals produced by the chemo and limits the side effects. Barley is just a food but a very powerful food.
  2. Nordic Naturals Ultimate Omega fish oil-2 soft gel capsules daily with food. It protects against neuropathy, mucosal and gastric toxicities, liver protection, and prevents muscle and weight loss. A quick google search will yield numerous positive studies on the positive benefits of omega 3’s related to preventing chemo side effects.
  3. Turkey Tail Mushrooms by Host Defense- 2 capsules twice daily. Turkey Tails contains the compounds PSP & P.S.K., which appear to inhibit the growth of cancer cells.
  4. Aloe Vera Juice-Aloe Gold by Aloe Life -1 ounce 1 to 3 times daily, anytime or best before meals. Think how a burn damages the skin; chemo sort of has a similar effect on the G.I. system from the mouth to the anus. Aloe has the constituents to soothe and heal delicate tissue, along with enhancing the immune system.
  5. Beta-Glucan (Now brand Extra Strength Beta-Glucan) 1000mg daily on an empty stomach. Beta-glucan is a long-chain polysaccharide molecule that can help white blood cells kill cancer cells.
  6. Grape seed extract- 300 mg daily on non-chemotherapy days. Protects the good cells from chemo-induced toxicity by preventing oxidative stress, tissue damage, and inflammation.
  7. Essiac Tea (Barlow Essiac-20) is a Major detoxification herbal that also boosts immune function and reduces inflammation. Use per-label recommendations.
  8. Ginger capsules (Nature’s Sunshine) Mainly used to help with chemo-associated nausea; they also have antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties.
  9. Turmeric (CuraMed by Terry Naturally) 750mg once daily or 375mg twice daily. This is a superior absorption curcumin for a healthy inflammation response more powerful than
turmeric. Another company’s broker actually recommended this brand. I did receive information that it was not recommended for female breast and reproductive cancer.
  10. To reduce the cardio-toxicity of Doxorubicin and Cyclophosphamide. We used Vitamin E Succinate (Bluebonnet Dry-E 400IU) once daily with food, Nordic Naturals Ultimate Omega, which is already recommended above. Brazil nuts 5 nuts/day, brazil nuts are high in the mineral selenium, which is cardioprotective. For adults >18 years old, you can also use Coenzyme Q10, 100mg daily. I also trust the Bluebonnet brand.
  11. Nature’s Sunshine Blood Build 1 capsule daily. We used this to help rebuild the red blood cells and platelets due to the extended length of his chemotherapy course. I do not think this would be necessary for shorter courses of chemo. Also, supplemental Iron is contraindicated with chemotherapy. The barley and blood build worked amazingly. The doctors were astounded by the rebound of his blood counts.
  12. Slippery Elm Lozenges- We used these for the few times Cameron started to develop mouth sores. Because of the above regimen, he experienced far less than his peers on the Oncology unit.

I understand that the list above seems extensive, but this was formulated for a 33-week course of 5 chemotherapy agents. It could definitely be simplified as needed to fit other treatment regimens. Minimally I would recommend the Barley, Aloe, Grape seed extract, Turkey Tails, and Beta-Glucans. So much research is being conducted around the globe regarding cancer treatments and means to mitigate side effects. I would highly recommend avoiding all sugar and processed foods and researching fasting before treatments. It would be our privilege to talk to and counsel anyone facing a cancer challenge. The advice is free: you are not expected to purchase anything from us.

Freely I have received, and freely I will give. Dennis Lagarde at Whole Health Market, 985-370-0751

My 53yo husband has colon cancer with liver Mets. Has taken multiple chemo drugs but now only on Vectibix with good results so far. He is also on Xarelto for DVT from cancer. All of his labs are great. What regimen would you recommend for him at this time? Thanks

The Barley, turkey tails, beta glucans and grape seed extract (not on the web store yet). I would avoid the omega 3’s while on Xarelto.
This would put him ahead nutritionally to detox the chemo and fight cancer without collateral damage.
Thanks for your inquiry, call us at 985-370-0751 if you have any questions.

Karen, for 20 years I have been teaching the principals of these products on a one to one basis in the store. My head can ramble on for hours on case studies and generalities of the products as they relate to individual challenges. The best I can do so far is in these articles from a written standpoint. I am best doing one on one, so give us a call to discuss your individual questions. If I am not at the store, I will call you back when convenient. 985-370-0751 Whole Health Market, We are a small store and its all family.
      Thanks for your interest.

I am a 50 year old female and have been diagnosed with stage 4 kidney cancer. I’m currently doing immunotherapy consisting of Keytruda and Lenvima. What would you recommend?

Angel, thanks for your question. Although I have not had much experience with the specifics of immunotherapy, the barley, omega 3, turkey tails and aloe are classified as food based supplements. If you are allowed to eat greens, cold water fish, culinary mushrooms and aloe then there would be no contraindication. These alone would put your body in position to detox and heal in a natural physiological way. I would hesitate to recommend the Essiac tea and grape seed extract as I would not know how they could potentially interact with the immunotherapy. I would never want to cause any harm or delay in healing. I would also recommend taking black seed oil at a dose of 10-15ml daily and a daily dose of a high quality unfiltered extra virgin olive oil at 1 Tbsp. day. Both of these foods also have been studied and shown to help the body manage cancer challenges. Hope this helps, of course I have to give the disclaimer to check with your Doctor before beginning any alternative regimen. God bless you and we will keep you lifted up in prayer.

HI Angel, I would recommend “Flying Against The Odds”, a book about a French airlines pilot who got diagnosed with stage 4 kidney cancer 17 years ago and is still going strong. Check on Amazon, and just read the “look inside of the book” parts to give you an idea. He has changed doctors’ minds in some places! Compelling and encouraging! We’re reading it for my son who has Ewing’s sarcoma. Maybe Dennis/La Garde store carries Spirulina, another supplement highly recommended by the author. Dennis has been such a tremendous help to us.

Hi Dennis, my name is Terry and my sister was told about 3 weeks ago that she has ewing sarcoma. She has not started anything and will soon have an appointment with an oncologist. So we don’t know what her treatment will be yet. Her sarcoma was found on her abdominal wall . She is 38 years old and is married and has 3 children. I will ask if she wants to start this protocol. Will the dosages be the same for her age?

Terry, thanks for the inquiry. The short answer is yes, use the same dosage. Cameron was post puberty so we used adult doses. I would be honored to talk to you or more so to your sister to offer encouragement and support. Also to answer any questions. I’m sure she has many questions. The store number is 985-370-0751. I am there today after 2 pm, if not leave a message and I will return your call. I will be praying for your sister. Tell her “FEAR NOT”

I have recently been diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer that spread to my ovaries. I have had a surgery to remove the ovaries but will have chemo for 4 months before they will remove the tumor on my colon. I have an ileostomy bag in the meantime. I am currently taking liposomal circumin, zinc, vitamins C & D, Rick Simpson oil and Fenbendazole. Would some of Cameron’s supplements work well with these or instead of some of these?

Hello Andrea, I am proud of the research you have done. I agree with all the supplements that you are currently taking. My only recommendation would be to add the barley, turkey tails and whole leaf aloe vera. They were game changers for Cameron. I would also switch the vitamin C for grape seed extract. The GSE is a more potent antioxidant to detox the chemo. Do not take it on chemo days but only on off days. The barley will keep your energy up, aloe protect the GI tract and Turkey Tails will detox the chemo and modulate the immune system. Great call on the fenben and RSO. Please keep me posted and call if you ever need to talk. We will be praying for your full recovery. God Bless You!

Diagnosed with estrogen positive breast cancer. Saw that curcumin was not recommended for breast or hormonal cancer under the protocolisted for Cameron. I’ve never heard this. May I ask why?

Tiffany, thanks for your inquiry. Before I put myself in a situation where I am offering advice or making a recommendation, I have to have full confidence that first it will cause no harm. The only reason I am even willing to speak about cancer and natural alternatives is because of my experience with Cameron. A nurse practitioner friend of mine was taking a high dose of curcumin for a cervical issue and suddenly started bleeding- a lot. This was concerning so she spoke to someone (with more knowledge than me) who advised her to not take curcumin with female reproductive cancers. At that point, although I had reservations about the role that curcumin played in this scenario, I could no longer with confidence recommend it publicly. There are so many alternative options that have absolutely no questionable fear of harming someone. Turkey Tails, high polyphenol olive oil, black seed oil, beta-glucans, grape seed extract, barley juice powder and many more. All safe and no possible harm can come from their use with a cancer challenge. For non-reproductive female cancers, I would recommend up to 8 grams of curcumin a day. I guess the use for or against will have to be determined by the individual. If you find information that contradicts this opinion, please post it here on this forum and I will happily reconsider my stance. Thanks again, God Bless you.

Shawn, please forgive the delayed response. I would follow the exact protocol that we used with Cameron. He took all supplements every day except no Grape seed extract on Chemo days. HE Would take the supplements before going to the clinic which was an hour drive. Please call the store if you ever need a question answered quickly. If I am working at the hospital, they will take your information and I will respond within 24 hours or the same day if possible.

Katrina, The core supplements of Aim Barley Life, Nordic Omega 3’s and Turkey tails are without a doubt the best option to support the body’s ability overcome the side effects of chemo and facilitate healing. The next supplements recommended would be Essiac Tea tincture 15 drops three times daily, Curamed by Terry’s Naturally and Grape seed extract. I would then ask you to call the store and discuss your particular situation for furthur recommendations. 985-370-0751 or cell 985-662-4233.

Katina, thanks you for your inquiry. I would immediately begin Joe Tippins Fenbendazole protocol. The link is mycancerstory.rocks and
fenbendazole.org (this gives a simple dosing schedule). From there I would also recommend barley life powder, turkey tail mushrooms, Essiac-20 tea tincture and grape seed extract and tumeric. Please call the store for more information. I would be happy to discuss these supplements and answer any questions you may have. 985-370-0751

Hi, I’m a 19 years old male who was diagnosed with a brain tumor on the right side of my brain. I had it removed successfully, but it came back cancerous and I was told some of the cancer cells were left in my brain. So, I started a 150mg chemotherapy pill “low dosage” and completed radiation therapy consisting of about 20 sessions. Any tips to help me become cancer free? (Prayer is also appreciated and praise God)!

Donovan, I am so sorry for the delayed response. We have found great success with the following regimen regarding brain tumors. A core regimen of a green grass juice (Aim Barley Life), Turkey Tail mushrooms, Essiac-20, high polyphenol olive oil, serrapeptase and last but most importantly Frankincense. The oral version is called Bos Med. Please call the store at 985-370-0751 for further information. Donovan, we will absolutely pray for you! God bless you.
