INDICATIONS:

Heart Formula is an all around great heart tonic for long-term use. Hawthorn has been safely used for generations by cultures in Europe and the USA. Hawthorn increases flow in coronary vessels via dilation, therefore it has been reported to help reduce the likelihood of angina attacks. It also increases blood supply to the myocardium. It is best here for age related changes to the myocardium, as Hawthorn will improve nutrition to the tissue. It helps to strengthen blood vessels and capillary strength. It is not for an angina attack itself, but helps to regenerate circulation over time.

Hawthorn does not have hypotensive effects, but blood pressure may come down if high with Hawthorn via improved cardiac function. It can be combined with hypotensive drugs safely. It is also for cardiac arrhythmias where it has been most successful with elderly patients.
