INDICATIONS;

The Neem Tree, native to the southern regions of Asia, has been used for thousands of years to treat skin diseases, inflammation, fungal, bacterial and viral infections. It has been reported to have immuno-modulatory, anti-inflammatory, antihyperglycemic, antifungal, antibacterial, anticarcinogenic, and antioxidant properties.

Neem contains both alkaloids and liminoids, which contribute to its wide range of medicinal uses. In Ayuverdic medicine, it is considered to cleanse the blood, detoxify the body, and neutralize free radicals. Its antifungal, antiseptic, and anti-inflammatory properties help reduce the severity of skin problems such as acne, eczema, psoriasis and other rashes.

Neem has also been found to help balance blood sugar levels. A study evaluating its effectiveness in Type 2 diabetes patients showed Neem demonstrated significant hypoglycemic activity and reported it could successfully be combined with oral hypoglycemic medications.

Neem has also been the subject of research in immunology and cancer treatment. A study investigating its influence on immunity and viral load in HIV/AIDS patients reported that it increased T-helper cells, a type of white blood cell that fights infection. Other studies showed Neem inhibits tumor necrosis factor (TNF) induced biological responses by interacting with the binding sites of TNF receptors. In prostate cancer patients, terpenoids from Neem leaf inhibited cancer growth through down-regulation of calreticulin (CALR) and inhibition of focal adhesion kinase (FAK) activation.
